BACKGROUND
 

Dance with the Birds is part of CA's Ramsar Wetland Conservation Program Through education activities and innovative competitions such as bird model-making, drama and dancing, school children express their understanding on the importance of wetland conservation to the human society. Over one hundred thousand students have participated in this annual event in the past five years.

 
OBJECTIVES
 
To promote wetland conservation in schools through the participation in the interested and challenging competitions;
   
To stimulate students’ awareness on wetland conservation through the understanding of birds, one of the symbol of Inner Deep Bay Wetland;
   
To develop students’ creativity through model making and bird dancing.
