Community Used Clothes Recycling Bank SchemeCA is honoured to be appointed as one of the scheme managers of the Community Used Clothes Recycling Bank Scheme again by the Home Affairs Department (the other scheme managers are: Friends of the Earth Hong Kong, the Salvation Army and Christian Action), with the term of service from September 2010 to August 2013. The managing areas include Sai Kung, Tai Po, Shatin and Northern District. In the past four years, we collected over 120 tonnes of used clothes through the scheme. We will continue to push forward the scheme and explore suitable new spots for recycling banks in order to serve more people in the community. |
